Hi - I was interested to note the stone-curlew is ringed. As an ex-stone-curlew project manager I wondered whether you had passed the details of the colour-combination onto the RSPB (either the East Anglian or Wessex team), if not then please do! Thanks, Mike
[#8643189] 2007-05-16 18:30:41 Left by Dave Hutton (#1182272) Reply
Mike, the ring details were passed on the same night & Nick Adams RSPB says the bird originates from Weeting Heath NWT 2002. Hope that helps!!!!

Dave, congratulations on some excellent shots in your "Week-end of Waders". I particualrly liked the way you got right down to the bird's level. Are you able (willing) to advise what gear you used. Were you lying prone? However you did it WELL DONE! Helpma Boab

Hi Bob thanks for the comments all photos taken that W/E were with the Canon 1D mk 11 & the 500F4is with 1.4 conv most of the photos are taken in the sitting position but some where space allowed i was lying down with the waders at eye level!!!
